Michael Moore in Runoff Election

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Former State Rep. Kristi Thibaut, a candidate in the Democratic primary election for Harris County Commissioner, Precinct 3, has endorsed her former opponent Michael Moore in the runoff election. Thibaut said:
“I am proud to endorse Michael Moore for County Commissioner. I have worked with Michael and know he has the experience our precinct needs to make real progress on flood prevention, traffic, infrastructure and health care.
“Please join me and vote for Michael Moore for Commissioner in the Democratic primary runoff election!”
Moore advanced to the runoff in last night’s primary general election. Election Day is Tuesday, May 26.
“I could not be more proud or grateful for Kristi’s support,” said Moore. “Kristi and I have been friends for years. She was an outstanding public servant in the state legislature and continues to be a leader in so many ways.”
Moore served as Chief of Staff for former Houston Mayor Bill White, helping to run the fourth largest city in the United States, with a budget of nearly $2 billion and more than 20,000 employees.
Moore has also been endorsed by Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia, former Houston Mayor Bill White, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, flooding expert Jim Blackburn, the AFL-CIO, Harris County Young Democrats, Area 5 Democrats, Bay Area New Democrats, Harris County Tejano Democrats and other community leaders and organizations.
